Jakub (Kuba) started his career in science, focusing on biotechnology, and obtained a PhD in molecular biology from the University of Groningen. After that, he obtained classical training in cuisine and pastry at Le Cordon Bleu and worked in London’s restaurants, including Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley and Mere by Monica Galetti. Now, he works both at Kitchen Theory and Imperial College London as a Culinary Education Designer, creating a joint project called Chemical Kitchen. At Kitchen Theory he works as a chef, conceptualising, investigating and developing new dishes. He also performs and collaborates on research projects, and helps with creating the audio-visual content.
