At Kitchen Theory, we are passionate about creating multisensory dining experiences that engage all of the senses. Our partnership with Bang & Olufsen, a leader in audio and multimedia products, enhances this vision by incorporating state-of-the-art sound design into our immersive culinary experiences. Bang & Olufsen’s sophisticated technology allows us to elevate the audio dimension of the multisensory dining experiences in our Holborn studio. This partnership is rooted in a shared appreciation for exquisite craftsmanship and forward-thinking design. By working with Bang & Olufsen, we have the unique opportunity to craft dining experiences that incorporate not just taste, sight, and touch, but also sound—what we like to call “the forgotten sense.”

We believe that sound can play a profound role in shaping how food is perceived. Through our collaboration, we are exploring the effects of audio on taste perception, and how carefully curated soundscapes can enhance the dining experience, making it more memorable and immersive. Our story with Bang & Olufsen extends beyond the dining room. With shared values of innovation, and the art of storytelling, Kitchen Theory and Bang & Olufsen are creating unique, thought-provoking dining experiences that showcase the true potential of multisensory design.

The Chef’s Table by Kitchen Theory is proudly powered by Bang & Olufsen, integrating Bang &Olufsen’s products into our Chef’s Table in Holborn from December 2024, enhancing the atmosphere and immersing diners in a rich auditory environment. Our studio features a range of Bang & Olufsen products, including the Beolab 8 speakers, Beosound Theatre, and the iconic Beosound A9.
