Studio william cutlery
Kitchen Theory is proud to be a partner of Studio William Cutlery, an internationally renowned, award-winning company. Studio William is led by William Welch, an industrial designer whose work focuses on creating pioneering products that enhance the dining experience, inspired by natural forms.
Studio William is known for pushing the boundaries of the dining experience. Although the cutlery industry has a long history, William continues to innovate, creating sensory eating tools that bring a fresh perspective to the dining table. Their exclusive focus on designing and manufacturing cutlery amplifies the quality and attention to detail in every piece they produce. Their cutlery is frequently described as elegant and beautiful.
Their cutlery can be found at iconic venues around the world, including Kitchen Theory. We have used, and continue to use, Studio Willia cutlery in our Chef’s Table Experiences at Kitchen Theory’s studio, reflecting the enduring partnership between William and Chef Jozef Youssef. Together, we design utensils that promote a deeper connection with food, offering diners a unique and thought-provoking experience.
This partnership is also encapsulated in an art installation by artist Tanya Harrison, which features a variety of Studio William cutlery used over the years at our Chef’s Table. The installation is proudly displayed in our studio, symbolising the ongoing exploration of mindfulness in dining, and challenging the traditional delivery of food from plate to mouth.
