NEURO CUISINE: EXPLORING THE SCIENCE OF FLAVOUR

OVERVIEW

In May 2016, The Guardian newspaper first approached Chef Jozef Youssef and Professor Charles Spence to develop a feature on Neuro Cuisine as part of their SEAT sponsored campaign, Brain Waves, with GBBO star Tamal Ray. This collaboration extended into a series of exclusive Gastrophysics dinners for Guardian subscribers at the Andaz Hotel in London Liverpool Street, as well as podcasts and videos.

As the Neuro Cuisine feature became one of The Guardian’s most popular of the sensory campaign, Kitchen Theory were then commissioned to host 150 guests at the Guardian UpFront event, hosted in October 2016 at Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square.

THE RESULTS

Chef Jozef Youssef and Professor Charles Spence coauthored an article for The Guardian. In addition, The Guardian also featured the two in a podcast and video.
