UBEREATS – HANGOVER BREAKFASTS & THE FLAVOURS OF HAPPINESS!

OVERVIEW

There is a plethora of advice out there on how to cure a hangover; from old wives tales to more modern life hacks, but how much of it stands up to academic research?

THE CHALLENGE

In the lead up to the 2018 New Year celebrations, UberEats launched a ‘Hangover Breakfast’ campaign, in which Kitchen Theory was tasked with developing a report investigating published academic research focused on foods which have the potential to alleviate the symptoms commonly associated with hangovers.

THE DEVELOPMENT

On the grounds of the report, we developed a list of recommended dishes based on menus of restaurants on the UberEats platform. Following the success of the ‘Hangover Breakfast’ campaign, UberEats followed this up with a campaign based on happiness inducing, mood-boosting foods to celebrate World Health Day. Once again, we were tasked with developing a report based on scientific literature.

THE RESULTS

This report lead to Kitchen Theory developing dishes based on the research for breakfast, lunch and dinner. These dishes were then created and photographed for press content.
